Each Minnie Mulu piece is designed and crafted to be worn and loved every day. To keep your jewellery looking its best, a little care goes a long way.

Caring for Gold Vermeil

Our gold pieces are crafted from sterling silver and plated with a thick layer of 18k gold vermeil.
To preserve their shine:

  • Avoid contact with water, lotions, perfumes, and cleaning products.

  • Remove before showering, swimming, or exercising.

  • Store in a cool, dry place. Ideally, in your Minnie Mulu pouch or box.

  • To clean, gently polish with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid jewellery cleaners or polishing liquids.

Caring for Sterling Silver

Sterling silver naturally develops a soft patina over time, it’s part of its charm.
To slow down tarnishing:

  • Wear your silver often. Natural oils from your skin help keep it bright.

  • When not in use, store in an airtight pouch or box.

  • If tarnish appears, gently polish with a silver cleaning cloth.

Hoop Clasps

With regular wear, the clasps on your hoops may gradually loosen or bend slightly, this is completely normal.
If the clip stops fastening securely, you can gently push the post back into its original position to restore the fit.
